Physical Education

Jamie Kluesner

I am in my 10th year as a Physical Education teacher in the Montgomery County School District. My classes play a large variety of activities throughout the year - softball, kickball, speed ball, handball, pickle ball, badminton, volleyball, basketball, archery, and hockey to name a few.  We play both individual and team games/activities.  My classes have a fitness day at least twice a month. Twice a year, every student will complete the President's Physical Fitness Challenge. Once a month, students will complete the pacer test, striving to improve their scores each month.  I strive to keep the students active throughout the class.

I graduated from Missouri Valley College in 2003,  with a BS in K-12 Physical Education.  In 2006, I received my Master's Degree in Athletic/Activities Administration from William Woods University.  I have been married to my husband, Matt, for eight years.  We have three wonderful children: Lane (6), Alexis "Lexi" (4), and Reed (1).  I enjoy volleyball, running, spending time with my family, reading when I can, and watching sporting events.
